Chemical Exfoliation

Objective:

This class will include both theory and hands-on training to build confidence using the most common peeling agents and techniques.  The student will be able to choose and apply the solution safely and effectively to achieve results for their clients.

Location:  In your own treatment room (other options available)

Course Description:

This course will consist of theory on of the most common peeling agents from superficial enzymes to medium depth TCA.  The following topics will be discussed:  Common peeling agents, contraindications and client selection, techniques to control depth of peel, safety and sanitation, after care, etc. 

The student will build confidence in choosing the proper ingredients for their clients’ unique needs.  There will also be hands-on practice using the most common techniques for both gel-based timed peels and liquid-based leave on peels. 

Hands-on practice will start with practicing the technique on a mannequin to gain skill and confidence, then a demonstration and practice on a live model will follow.

Two models will be required.

Handouts and a certificate will be provided on the day of the class.  Continued support is always included with the class fee.

A non-refundable deposit of $100 is required at the time of booking to reserve the day. The kit fee must be paid a minimum of one week before training date.
